Now Hosting in Canada: Choose Your Server Region
You can now choose where your Zeros Host server lives, right at checkout: the United Kingdom, Germany, or our brand new Canada region in North America. And s&box hosting is live too. Here is what the new region means for your players and your ping.
Today we are shipping one of our biggest infrastructure updates yet: you now choose where your server lives. Alongside the launch of s&box hosting, Zeros Host runs in three regions, and you pick yours at checkout.
Three regions, your choice
When you buy a server, a region picker now lets you choose between:
- United Kingdom: our London node, for the lowest latency across the UK.
- Germany: our Hetzner node, a strong central option for mainland Europe.
- Canada: brand new, our North American node for players across the US and Canada.
Why a Canada region matters
Physical distance is the single biggest driver of ping. Packets cannot travel faster than light down a fibre, so a North American player connecting to a server in Europe pays for the whole trip across the Atlantic, twice, on every single tick. A nearby node matters far more than any number on a spec sheet.
Until now, our hardware sat in the UK and Germany, which is great for European communities but a long way from players in Toronto, New York or Los Angeles. The new Canada node fixes that. If your players are in North America, pick Canada at checkout and they will feel the difference immediately.
s&box hosting is live too
s&box, the Source 2 successor to Garry's Mod from Facepunch, is now fully hostable at Zeros Host. You get the same one-click tools as every other game we host: gamemodes and maps, a live console, a browser file editor, off-site backups and DDoS protection. There is a free trial with no card, and plans start from 5 pounds for 2 GB.
How to pick your region
Head to the pricing page, choose your game and plan, and use the region toggle at the top of checkout. That is it. Existing servers are unaffected, and every region runs the exact same panel, tools and features, so the only thing that changes is how close your server sits to your players.
See pricing and pick your region, or spin up an s&box server and try it free.
