Project Zomboid Mod Sorter
A Project Zomboid server needs two lists that have to line up: WorkshopItems= holds the numeric Steam IDs, and Mods= holds the internal Mod IDs. Paste a Steam Workshop collection and we compile both, deduped, with every Mod ID laid out for you to confirm.
Paste the collection ID, or the full steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id= link. We pull in every mod it contains.
Existing WorkshopItems= and Mods= lines are merged in and deduped against the collection.
How to use it
- 1Paste a Steam Workshop collection ID or link, or your current config lines.
- 2Click Compile lists to read every mod and its Mod ID.
- 3Work down the review list. Confirm each Mod ID, add any we could not read, and untick anything you do not want.
- 4Copy the WorkshopItems and Mods lines into your server config.
Where the lists go
Both lines live in your server's INI, usually servertest.ini. The two lists must stay in step: every Mod ID needs its Workshop item present, or the mod will not load.
# Zomboid/Server/servertest.ini WorkshopItems=2721359995;2200148440 Mods=Brita;Brita_2
On a Zeros Host server this is a field in the panel, and the panel reads the real mod files for guaranteed dependency ordering.
