Frequently asked questions

Does your Terraria hosting support tModLoader?

Yes. You can choose between a vanilla Terraria server and a tModLoader server during the setup wizard. On a tModLoader server you add your mods through the file manager, and Calamity, Thorium, and thousands of other community mods are supported. Players connecting to a tModLoader server need to have tModLoader installed on their client.

How do I install mods on my Terraria server?

Run a tModLoader server, then add your mods through the panel file manager (or your tModLoader mods folder). Calamity, Thorium, and thousands of other community mods are supported. No SSH or FTP client to set up.

Do Terraria updates apply automatically?

Yes. The panel uses SteamCMD to keep your Terraria server binaries up to date. When Re-Logic releases a patch, the server files are updated on the next restart cycle so you are not left running an outdated version.

Where are your Terraria servers located?

Most of our servers run on Hetzner hardware in Germany, and we also have a real UK node live in London. Between the two you get good connections for players across the UK and Europe.

What's included in the free trial?

The free trial gives you a fully functional Terraria server for 24-hour with no credit card required. You get access to the full panel, tModLoader support, world configuration, and backups. If you decide to subscribe, your server and world carry over to the paid plan.
